Is This Possible?

Is it possible to connect a PIC to a pc using a wireless TCP/IP connection?
I want to use it in a robot swarm context to send sensor data from each unit to a controler (VB on the pc) which will then return an instruction set to the individual swarm bot.
Eventually want to use the idea on a Robocup soccer type competition but they dont want blue tooth.
Current thinking seems to be to have 4 or 5 autonomous players on a team who will act together by accident sometimes.
My thinking is to have a central autonomous controller exercising direct and precise control over its team of players which should out-perform the opponents as strategies could be worked out which could send the striker up field while the rest are fighting over the ball. When the ball becomes available, it can be passed to the striker to score as all the opponents will be around the area where the ball is (or was before the pass).
Has anyone got any ideas or suggestions?

Try www.edtp.com

They have a pic demo board with a wireless ethernet controller.

Thanks Ian.
I was thinking more along the line of a circuit diagram as there is a whole bunch of other stuff that must be taken into account (motor drivers, sensors etc) and the whole lot must be very concise so that battery space does not suffer.

If you dig around on the edtp site you should be able to find the circuit diagrams, and perhaps even the pcb layout files.
